A good olive oil and a real balsamic vinegar will carry a kitchen further than most cookware. These are the two ingredients that finish dishes rather than start them. Our olive oil comes from single-estate groves in Puglia. The balsamic is aged five years by Acetaia Leonardi, the Modena family that has made vinegar since 1871. Both earn their place on the counter, not in the cupboard.
