Antique Tea Washed Malayer Rug 4.5x6, one of a kind and hand-knotted in Persia circa 1920s. Patina you can’t fake and a pattern you won’t see on another floor.

The pattern. Roundel center medallion with long stemmed double tiered finials atop a covered field of long stemmed vines bearing pinwheel colored blossoms and palmettes. Wrapped by a wide banded main border In a meandering vine and floral cross-section design motif.

Colors. Dusty navy blue, pale gold, sand, beige, dusty rose, dusty sea foam green, copper.

Condition. Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Tatter to sides and ends. One or two minor areas of localized restoration, approximately two inches by one inch. Recently professionally cleaned and ready for in-home use.
