The Cubic Table Lamp is a glossy ceramic globe lamp on a square stoneware base, finished in Pink Glossy or White Glossy. A 6-inch glass globe sits on a 6 by 6 inch ceramic foot.
The base is geometric, not turned. Six inches square in plan, set against a six-inch sphere of glass on top. The shape contrast is the design: hard angles meeting a perfect curve, both in the same glossy ceramic glaze and hand-blown glass family as the Cubic Sconce.
Handcrafted in Misewell's Milwaukee studio. The lamp measures 6 inches by 6 inches by 8 inches tall, weight 2 pounds. Glass globe diameter is 6 inches. Bulb is G9 at 5W LED, 60W equivalent, 2700K. Included. Ships with a 10-foot fabric cord and in-line dimmer. Materials are stoneware and glass. UL listed. Lead time runs 1–2 weeks.
Set it on a nightstand, desk, or low credenza. The squared base anchors the form on tighter surfaces where a round foot would slide. The 8-inch height makes it the right scale alongside framed art or a stack of books.

Why a square base?
Stability and contrast. The 6-by-6 inch foot stops the lamp from rocking on a surface, and the hard edges read against the round globe on top. Most ceramic lamp bases are turned (round). Misewell deliberately squared this one for the geometric pairing.
How tall is it really?
8 inches total. The G9 bulb sits inside the 6-inch glass globe, and the base is roughly 2 inches tall. On a 25-inch nightstand the bulb sits at about 33 inches. Close to seated eye height. On a desk you're looking down at it.
Does it match the Cubic Sconce in color?
Same glaze recipes, fired in the same studio. Order both pieces at the same time if you want them to match closely. Even within a single glaze family, each kiln batch can vary slightly. Misewell can fire them together on request.
Is the bulb brighter than the Cubic Sconce?
Marginally. The Cubic Table Lamp uses a 60W-equivalent G9 (5W LED); the Cubic Sconce uses 50W-equivalent (4.5W LED). The brighter bulb gives the lamp slightly more reach across a tabletop. Both are dimmable.
Can it sit on a windowsill?
If the sill is at least 8 inches deep and you have an outlet within 10 feet, yes. The square base needs flat support. A sloped sill or one with a lip might not seat the lamp flat. Check the surface first.
