The Cubic Sconce is a glossy ceramic globe sconce with a 6-inch hand-blown glass globe over a ceramic body in Pink Glossy or White Glossy.
Glossy is the difference. The ceramic body is finished in a high-sheen glaze that reflects ambient light back into the room. Softer than chrome, more luminous than matte. The 6-inch glass globe sits flush with the body diameter so the fixture reads as a single sphere shape.
Handcrafted in Misewell's Milwaukee ceramics studio and paired with globally sourced lighting elements. The sconce measures 6 inches in diameter by 9 inches tall, weight 2 pounds. Glass globe diameter is 6 inches. Bulb is G9 at 4.5W LED, 50W equivalent, 2700K. Included. Plug-in ships with a 10-foot fabric cord and dimmer; hardwire option available. Materials are stoneware and glass. UL listed. Lead time runs 1–2 weeks.
Mount it as a bedside reading sconce, beside a vanity, or in a living room corner where you want a soft pool of light without competing texture. The glossy finish lifts the fixture against pale walls; Pink Glossy adds warmth, White Glossy disappears.

How does glossy differ from chrome or matte?
Glossy is a smooth, high-sheen ceramic glaze. Reflective like glass, not mirror-bright like chrome. Matte glazes absorb light; chrome bounces it; glossy sits in between. The Cubic in glossy reads soft and warm where the Ripple in chrome reads cool and reflective.
Pink Glossy or White Glossy?
White Glossy disappears into pale walls and lets the globe of light do the talking. Pink Glossy is a soft millennial pink that catches sunlight and pushes warmth into the room. Pick White for a quiet install; Pink for a fixture you notice.
Will fingerprints show on the gloss?
Less than on chrome. Glossy ceramic doesn't hold prints as visibly as a mirrored surface. Wipe down occasionally with a microfiber cloth and the sconce stays clean. Above touching height it never needs attention.
Is it dimmable hardwired?
Yes. Pair the hardwire variant with a dimmer switch on the wall. The included G9 LED is dimmable. The plug-in version comes with the dimmer on the cord, no wall switch needed.
How is this different from the old Cubic Sconce I see elsewhere?
This is the current production version with Pink Glossy and White Glossy. Older listings had more color options but were a slightly different SKU; Misewell streamlined the lineup. The form factor, dimensions, and bulb are identical.
In-stock orders are packed and shipped within 5–7 business days (excluding holidays). Shipping is via UPS within the continental United States — we do not offer international shipping or in-store pickup at this time.
Shipping is complimentary on orders over $150. Below that threshold, live rates are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination.
