Does this silky, white Peony look familiar? Often called the "White Memorial Day Peony," Alba Plena is among the first white Peony of the season to flower and has been used to commemorate the graves of fallen soldiers. The rich history of these beautifully old-fashioned flowers is thought to extend back to the 17th century, but they're just as at home in our gardens today.
Peony Alba Plena has enormous, snowy white double blooms that start as pinkish buds. You'll appreciate its compact growing habit, pleasant aroma, and easy-to-grow nature. The showy, ruffled flowers make a grand statement in pots, borders, or vases.
