It was made in Turkey circa 1970s and sourced directly from Old New House in Katonah, New York. Old New House was founded by Dave and Melissa Dilmaghani — Dave is a fourth-generation rug dealer on his mother's side and fifth on his father's, with a family lineage in hand-knotted carpets going back to the mid-1800s. He dates and describes every rug personally.

Weave across in mostly original condition. Fully secured sides and ends. Possible light reduction to the perimeter. Machine bound edges. Machine seamed pieces. It has been professionally cleaned and is ready for immediate in-home use. Because this is a vintage piece, expect honest signs of age — that's part of the character, and it's priced accordingly.
