Vintage Distressed Karaja Runner 3.5x15

Vintage Distressed Karaja Runner 3.5x15, hand-knotted in Persia circa 1950s. The kind of rug that quiets a room the moment it goes down.

The pattern. Single column center medallions in mirrored relief outward from the center, each with sharp stepped contour, lightening serrated relief, and long stemmed blossoms. Hook and latch enveloped detailing atop a covered field of geometric blossoms and floral design elements.

Colors. Powder blue, pale sky blue, dusty cherry red, dusty blush, pale aubergine.

Condition. Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned and ready for in-home use.
