The Wrap Candle Planter is a hand-poured soy wax candle in a ceramic vessel. After the candle burns down, the vessel becomes a planter. Two lives for one piece.
The ceramic vessel is made in the Misewell studio. Bushyl — an artisan candlemaker — pours the candle by hand using 100% natural soy wax. The wax is then fragranced with one of three seasonal scents. After the wax burns out, clean the vessel and plant a succulent, a small herb, or a propagation cutting.
The Wrap Candle Planter by Misewell comes in three scents. Winter Rose blends blue spruce, white rose, patchouli, and fir needle. Freshly Foraged pairs balsam fir, clove, cedarwood, lemon, and mountain air. Juniper + Moss layers juniper, spruce needle, ginger, moss, and pine. Each is hand-poured and made in a white glossy ceramic vessel.
Burn the candle through the season, then keep the vessel as a small planter on a sunny shelf.

How does the vessel-becomes-planter thing actually work?
Burn the candle through the season, then let the vessel cool completely. Scoop out any remaining wax (gently warm the vessel if needed), wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and plant. Succulents, small herbs, or propagation cuttings all work.
Which scent should I pick?
Winter Rose is the most floral (blue spruce, white rose, patchouli, fir needle). Juniper + Moss is the most herbaceous (juniper, spruce, ginger, moss, pine). Freshly Foraged sits in between (balsam fir, clove, cedarwood, lemon, mountain air). All three read as winter scents — pick against the room you'll burn it in.
How long does the candle burn?
Typical burn time varies — natural soy wax burns cleanly but at a moderate rate. Plan on several dozen hours of total burn across the life of the candle. Trim the wick between burns to keep it even.
Does the vessel have drainage for the planter stage?
No — it's designed as a candle vessel, not a drainage planter. Once repurposed, stick to plants that tolerate careful watering without a drain hole (succulents, air plants, propagation cuttings). Water sparingly.
Is it giftable?
Very — the two-lives-in-one-piece angle is the kind of detail that lands with anyone who cares about less waste. The scents suit most preferences, and the vessel is keepable well past the candle.
