It was made in Persia circa 1920s and sourced directly from Old New House in Katonah, New York. Old New House was founded by Dave and Melissa Dilmaghani — Dave is a fourth-generation rug dealer on his mother's side and fifth on his father's, with a family lineage in hand-knotted carpets going back to the mid-1800s. He dates and describes every rug personally.

Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. It has been professionally cleaned and is ready for immediate in-home use. Because this is a vintage piece, expect honest signs of age — that's part of the character, and it's priced accordingly.
