WOW! That’s what you’ll say when you see the dark purple flowers of this iris. Rich, royal purple standards and falls are overlaid by a deep, velvety nearly-black veining and wash on the falls, with a white starburst just around the beards.
It’s rare to find a colorfast, dark purple reblooming iris but this one checks all of the boxes. It's one of the best dark purple reblooming bearded irises you can find. Award of Merit winner, 2009.
