The Ripple IIII Pendant is a chrome ripple ceiling pendant. The most rippled disc in Misewell's pendant series, finished in chrome glaze for full reflective effect.
This is the version where the ripple language is loudest. The disc keeps the same 7.5-inch footprint as the Ripple III Pendant, but the surface carries more pronounced ridges across its face. Chrome glaze tracks every ridge and turns the underside into a moving pattern of light.
Handcrafted in Misewell's Milwaukee ceramics studio. The pendant measures 7.5 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall, weight 2 pounds. Socket is E12 LED rated at 40W equivalent maximum, bulb sold separately. Plug-in ships with an 18-foot fabric cord and on/off switch; hardwire ships with an 8-foot cord and black canopy. Materials are stoneware. UL listed. Lead time runs 3–5 weeks.
Hang it where you want the ceiling to do work. Entry halls, powder rooms, dining nooks in small spaces. The deeper ripple pattern means the pendant reads as a detailed object even when the bulb is off.

How is this different from the Ripple III Pendant?
Same outer dimensions, different ripple depth. The IIII has more pronounced ridges across the disc. Visually busier, more reflective interaction with light. Pick the III for a quieter version; the IIII for a stronger statement piece. The price difference is $100.
Why is the IIII pricier?
More throwing time. The deeper ripple pattern takes longer to form on the wheel and longer to glaze evenly. Misewell prices reflect the studio time, not the materials. A more involved hand-finished piece costs more to make.
What bulb shape works best?
A clear E12 bulb shows the ripple pattern most clearly because more light reaches the underside. Frosted bulbs soften the effect. Still visible, but less crisp. Match the bulb temperature to 2700K for Misewell's house warm white.
Can I see the ripple from underneath?
That's the design point. The disc hangs face-down and the ripples are on the visible underside. Stand under it and you see the full rippled chrome surface; from above the pendant reads as a smooth disc.
Does it work over a small dining table?
Yes. For a two-top or counter-height pub table. The 7.5-inch diameter is too small for a standard dining table. Pair two side by side for a longer surface, or stick to a single pendant in a breakfast nook.
