The Ripple III Pendant is a chrome ripple flush pendant. A 7.5-inch disc of rippled ceramic in chrome glaze, designed to hang close to the ceiling.
The disc profile is the design. Five inches tall and 7.5 inches across, the pendant reads more like a recessed downlight than a hanging fixture. The chrome glaze on rippled ceramic gives the underside its texture and the light a soft, broken pattern as it falls.
Handcrafted in Misewell's Milwaukee ceramics studio. The pendant measures 7.5 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall, weight 2 pounds. Socket is E12 LED rated at 40W equivalent maximum, bulb sold separately. Plug-in ships with an 18-foot fabric cord and on/off switch; hardwire ships with an 8-foot cord and black canopy. Materials are stoneware. UL listed. Lead time runs 3–5 weeks.
Hang it in a powder room or above a small landing where a deeper pendant would feel oversized. The flat profile keeps the ceiling line open while the chrome glaze adds reflection in tight spaces.

What ceiling height does it work at?
Standard 8-foot or higher. The pendant adds about 5 inches of drop with the hardwire canopy, so clearance is around 7.5 feet at the bottom. Use it in any room where a chandelier would feel oversized. Powder rooms, walk-in closets, narrow halls.
What bulb fits?
An E12 LED rated 40W equivalent or less. E12 is the small candelabra base. Misewell ships the pendant without a bulb so you can pick warm or cool temperature. A clear bulb shows through the open bottom of the disc; a frosted bulb softens the output.
How is it different from the Ripple IIII Pendant?
Same outer dimensions (7.5" × 5"). The IIII has a different lower-edge profile and runs $100 more. More rippled detail on the underside. Pick the III for a quieter disc; the IIII for a more pronounced ripple read.
Is plug-in really an option for a ceiling pendant?
Yes. The plug-in version ships with an 18-foot fabric cord and on/off switch. You'd route the cord to a ceiling hook, then to an outlet. Common in rentals or rooms without ceiling-box wiring. It looks cleaner hardwired but plug-in is functionally identical.
Where does the chrome read best?
In rooms with mixed natural light. The chrome glaze picks up daylight and bounces it through the room, so the pendant reads alive even when it's off. In always-dark spaces (windowless bathrooms) the chrome is quieter. It shows up once the bulb is on.
