Beyond being a double flowering variety, this Freesia arrives in the most vivid shade of scarlet with a punch of yellow in the heart of each bloom. No wonder it's a favorite among many for delightfully fragrant cut flower arrangements, especially in gift bouquets for special occasions!
Double Bicolor is a sun-loving plant that appreciates well-drained soil, such as sandy, rocky soils reminiscent of their African origins. Plant in the fall in zones 9 and above and enjoy as a perennial, or if you live in a colder climate, plant in the spring and use as an annual or container plant. Freesias can be expected to bloom 10 to 12 weeks after planting and require very little maintenance to look gorgeous. Enjoy!
