Freesia - Double White

White freesia's long, willowy flower stems are ideal for wedding bouquets and to mix with delicate pastels. Beautiful in an all white garden where its slim profile slips easily between established plants. Trumpet shaped double blooms have a silky texture, tiny golden throats and an excellent, sweet fragrance.
Freesias make excellent cut flowers and do well as perennials growing outside in zones 9 and above when planted in fall. Great annuals in containers or in the ground in cooler regions when planted in spring. Stems grow 18 to 24 inches and prefer sun to light shade with moist, well drained soil.
