Laguiole Black Flatware Set — 24 Piece, Wood Presentation Box
or 4 interest-free payments of $92.00 with ShopPay
This Laguiole black flatware set weighs exactly right in your hand. You feel the full-tang construction before you see it — the blade runs through the entire handle, giving every piece a balance that stamped flatware never gets close to.
Twenty-four pieces. Six dinner forks, six steak knives, six dinner spoons, six teaspoons. Complete service for six.
Laguiole Jean Néron has made cutlery in the Midi-Pyrénées since 1880. Five generations. Same family, same workshop. Each handle carries the signature bee — a mark of the Laguiole region dating back to Napoleonic times.
The black handles read sharp against a white tablecloth. Warm against natural linen. They move between a Tuesday dinner and a Saturday gathering without looking out of place.
Everything arrives in a beechwood box with an acrylic lid. Storage, display, and gift packaging in one.
Dishwasher safe. Hand-washing keeps the finish sharper longer.
100% made in France.

Why does Laguiole flatware cost more than regular cutlery?
Every piece is made in France by Laguiole Jean Néron — five generations of the same family since 1880. Full-tang construction means the blade runs through the handle, not glued on. That gives you balance and durability that stamped flatware cannot match.
Is this flatware dishwasher safe?
Yes. All 24 pieces are dishwasher safe. Hand-washing with mild soap preserves the black handle finish longer, but the stainless steel handles machine washing without issue.
What is included in the 24-piece set?
Six dinner forks, six steak knives, six dinner spoons, and six teaspoons. Complete service for six. Everything arrives in a beechwood box with an acrylic lid.
Will the black handle finish wear off over time?
The ABS resin handles are colour-fast and built for daily use. Hand-washing preserves the finish longest, but even with regular dishwasher use the handles hold up well. Full-tang construction means the handle itself is structural, not cosmetic.
What does the bee symbol on Laguiole knives mean?
The bee stamped on each bolster is the hallmark of Laguiole cutlery. It represents the Laguiole region of France and symbolises hard work, diligence, and community — a tradition dating back to Napoleonic times.
In-stock orders are packed and shipped within 5–7 business days (excluding holidays). Shipping is via UPS within the continental United States — we do not offer international shipping or in-store pickup at this time.
