Using the Le Parfait kitchen food scale is easy. First, place the scale on a flat surface and press the power button to turn it on. Wait for the display to show zero before adding anything. Then, choose your preferred measurement unit to match your recipe. The scale can help you follow recipes that use different measurements, making cooking and baking more convenient.
If you are using a bowl or one of your preserving jars, use the tare function before adding ingredients. Place the empty container on the scale, then press the tare button so the display will reset to zero. You can then add your ingredients and see the exact weight without including the container. After use, wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean. Do not place it in water. Instead, store it in a dry area when not being used to help protect it for years of reliable use.
