The Scotty is a handmade stoneware mug, fired for 36 hours at temperatures above 2200°F. It holds 12 ounces and goes in the dishwasher.
Stoneware holds temperature better than thinner ceramic — the dense body keeps coffee warmer longer. The weight in your hand is noticeable, in a good way. The glaze runs smooth against your lip, and the colour stays consistent wash after wash.
The Scotty Mug by Misewell is made by hand in the Milwaukee ceramic studio. Four glazes are available: Blue, Pink Glossy, White Glossy, or Yellow. Each is hand-applied, so slight variations appear from piece to piece. The mug is dishwasher safe and works for hot and cold drinks.

12 ounces — is that oversized?
It's a generous coffee-cup size rather than a novelty mug. Enough for a full morning cup without topping up, still small enough to feel like a mug rather than a bowl. Slightly larger than the 10oz Coffee Tumbler.
Dishwasher? Microwave?
Dishwasher-safe — the 36-hour firing at 2200°F makes stoneware dense enough to handle daily dishwashing without chipping. Microwave-safe for short reheats; avoid long microwave cooking as you would with any handmade ceramic.
Will it chip?
Stoneware resists chipping under normal use better than thinner ceramics. The high-temperature firing makes the body hard and dense. Treat it like any mug you care about, and it'll last.
Which colour should I pick?
White Glossy is the quiet daily-use pick. Blue and Yellow are the colour statements. Pink Glossy sits between the two. Each hand-applied, so slight variations between pieces.
Is the handle comfortable?
Yes — sized for a standard grip, not oversized or tiny. The weight of stoneware makes the mug feel substantial in your hand, which is part of the appeal.
