or 4 interest-free payments of $212.50 with ShopPay
- — Slip-cast ceramic, four glaze colors
- — Three slot openings throw horizontal light
- — 8 inches across, 9 inches tall
- — GU10 LED included, 75W equivalent
The Slot Table Lamp is a slip-cast ceramic lamp defined by three openings that separate the shade from the base. Light passes through each slot, creating a soft horizontal band of glow.
The form is fully ceramic, slip-cast and finished in a continuous glaze that emphasizes its simple geometry. Light slips through the three slots in horizontal bands, while the closed top diffuses output softly downward. The lamp reads as one sculptural shape, not a base-and-shade combination.
Designed, handcrafted, and assembled in the USA. Ceramic components made by hand in Misewell's Milwaukee studio. The lamp measures 8 inches in diameter by 9 inches tall, weight 2 pounds. Bulb is GU10 LED at 75W equivalent, 2700K. Included. Ships with a 10-foot fabric cord and in-line dimmer. Materials are stoneware. UL listed. Lead time runs 5–7 weeks. Available in White Glossy, Red, Moss, or Pink Glossy.
Set it on a low credenza or bookshelf where the slot pattern can throw light against a back wall. The fully closed-top design means no downward glare. Easy on the eyes from across the room.

What does the slot pattern actually do?
Three horizontal openings cut through the body of the lamp. Light from the GU10 bulb passes through each slot, throwing a banded pattern outward. On a wall behind the lamp you get three visible stripes of warm light. Below, you get a soft pool from the closed top.
Why does it have a fully closed top?
To diffuse light downward rather than send glare upward. The lamp is designed for low surfaces. Credenzas, bookshelves, side tables. Where you'd see the bulb if the top were open. Closed top means no hot spot when you look at it from across the room.
Slip-cast versus hand-thrown?
Slip-cast means liquid clay is poured into a plaster mold to form a precise repeated shape, then finished by hand. Hand-thrown means the piece is shaped on a wheel one at a time. Slip-cast gives the Slot Table Lamp its clean geometric form. The three openings need exact alignment that's easier to repeat with a mold.
How does the GU10 bulb compare to G9?
GU10 is a larger base with a twist-lock mount. The included LED runs 75W equivalent at 2700K. Brighter than the G9 bulbs in most Misewell pieces, suited to the closed-top Slot design which needs more output to compensate for the diffused light path.
Which color disappears, which one shows up?
White Glossy and Moss are the quiet choices. They sit into a room's palette without grabbing attention. Red and Pink Glossy are the statement options. The slot pattern reads clearly across all colors; the difference is whether you want the lamp to be a focal piece or a background object.
