The Fin III Pendant is the tallest in Misewell's series. A 19-inch white oak pendant light built from radial plywood fins around a stainless steel core. Designed for tall ceilings and rooms that need a vertical anchor.
The proportion is the point. At 13.5 inches across and 19 inches tall, the pendant reads as a column of light rather than a disc. Vertical fins draw the eye up; the open base lets the bulb cast a soft circle on the surface below.
Handcrafted in Misewell's Milwaukee studio from white oak plywood and stainless steel hardware. The pendant measures 13.5 inches in diameter by 19 inches tall and weighs roughly 4 pounds. Socket is E26, bulb sold separately. Plug-in ships with an 18-foot fabric cord and on/off switch; hardwire ships with an 8-foot cord and a black canopy. UL listed. Lead time runs 4–6 weeks.
Use it in stairwells, double-height living rooms, or above a long dining table where a shorter pendant would feel undersized. Pair two over a 10-foot kitchen island for a unified line.

What ceiling height does this need?
Nine feet is the practical minimum. The pendant is 19 inches tall, and you want at least 30 inches of clearance above a dining table or 7 feet of floor-to-base clearance in walkways. On an 8-foot ceiling the Fin III feels cramped. Go Fin I or Fin II instead.
How tall does it hang in a stairwell?
The hardwire option ships with 8 feet of cord. For stairwells, double-height rooms, or anywhere you need it lower, the plug-in version's 18-foot cord gives you more to work with. You'll likely need to coil or shorten the excess.
Why pick this over Fin I or II?
Scale. Fin III is the size you want when a shorter pendant would feel lost. Large dining tables, vaulted ceilings, oversized entries, or a long kitchen island where the proportions need a column rather than a disc.
Will the wood show fingerprints?
Not noticeably. White oak plywood has a tight grain that hides handling, and the pendant lives well above touching height in most installs. A microfiber duster handles dust without leaving streaks.
Can I use a vintage Edison bulb?
Yes. Any E26 LED, including filament-style Edison bulbs, works in the socket. A clear Edison filament reads warmer and casts more pattern through the fins. Stay below the socket's wattage rating, which Misewell confirms on their spec sheet.
