The STEELPORT SteelCore™ redefines what a cutting board can be. This patent-pending steel reinforced, dual-surface design combines premium craftsmanship with unmatched everyday functionality, crafted for chefs who demand both performance and elegance.
Key Features
- Dual-Sided Versatility – End-grain walnut for everyday prep; nonporous composite side with juice groove for raw meats and aromatic ingredients
- SteelCore™ Durability – Patent-pending internal steel beams for warp prevention
- Ultra-Thin End-Grain – Just 0.75” thick for easy flipping, cleaning, and storing
- Unique Bevel Handle – Angled sides for effortless grip and seamless usability on either side
- Made in USA – Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon using all US-sourced materials
The artisan team behind award-winning, American-forged STEELPORT knives, have leveraged their decades of expertise in steel, woodworking, and exceptional culinary experiences to create a revolutionary steel-enforced walnut end-grain cutting board design: The STEELPORT SteelCore™ Cutting Board.
On one side, you’ll find ultra-thin end-grain walnut, renowned for its natural beauty and knife-friendly surface. It’s self-healing, gentle on blades, and designed to withstand years of use while resisting deep cuts.
Flip it, and the other side reveals a recycled paper composite surface with a built-in juice groove, ideal for raw meats, aromatic ingredients, and easy cleanup. This duality gives you true versatility: prep delicate produce and proteins without switching boards.
At just 0.75″ thick, it’s the thinnest end-grain board on the market, making it easy to handle and simple to store without sacrificing the heft or stability that serious cooking demands. The embedded SteelCore™ technology, a steel-reinforced interior, is designed to prevent warping or splitting over time, offering durability few wooden boards can match.
