- — Handmade stoneware wall planter
- — Works indoors and outdoors
- — Drainage system included
- — 5W × 7H × 6D inches
The Bender is a handmade ceramic wall planter built for both indoor and outdoor use. It arrives with a drainage system so your plants stay healthy.
The form sits flush against the wall rather than hanging loose. The proportions are compact. Empty, it reads as a piece of sculpture. Filled, it's a quiet home for greenery.
Each Bender is made by hand in the Misewell ceramic studio in Milwaukee. It measures 5 inches wide, 7 inches high, and 6 inches deep. Choose from three glazes: Coral, Bone, or Black. The drainage system helps prevent root rot. Slight variations between pieces are part of buying handmade.
Mount one on a garden wall, a kitchen backsplash, or beside a front door. The Bender takes small pothos, ferns, or trailing plants without trouble.
- Dimensions
- W 5in (13cm) | H 7in (18cm) | D 6in (15cm)

Is it really suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — the Bender is built for both indoor and outdoor use, and the drainage system prevents the water pooling that kills ceramic planters left out in the rain. Just bring it in if you're headed into a hard freeze, as you would with any ceramic pot.
What plants work best in it?
Small trailing plants are the sweet spot — pothos, string-of-pearls, small ferns, or trailing ivy. The compact interior doesn't suit big root systems, but it's ideal for cuttings and smaller specimens.
How do I mount it?
Standard wall-planter hardware — a screw into a stud or a drywall anchor rated for the planter weight plus soil and plant. The ceramic is lighter than it looks, but plan on weight in the 3–5 pound range when planted.
Coral, Bone, or Black?
Bone for quiet walls, Black for contrast against light walls, Coral when you want the planter to be the thing people notice. Each is hand-glazed, so slight colour variations appear from piece to piece.
Does the drainage leak onto the wall?
No — the drainage channel keeps water moving through the planter without dripping down the wall face. Standard watering doesn't cause runoff; just avoid overfilling.
