Light bends through hand-blown glass and lands soft on the wall—that is the effect of this glass globe ceramic sconce. The Cubic Sconce by Misewell works as a wall sconce or a freestanding table lamp, depending on how you mount it.

The blown glass globe sits on a solid handmade ceramic base. Together they measure 6 by 6 by 8 inches. The proportions are deliberately compact, suited to a bedside wall, a bathroom, or a narrow shelf.

Three glaze colours are available: Coral, Bone, and Black. Each is hand-applied in a Wisconsin ceramics studio, so slight colour variations appear piece to piece. The fixture is UL Listed for safe residential use.

Dual-purpose design is the standout feature here. Mount it to the wall with the included bracket for a sconce. Or rest it on a flat surface as a table lamp. The same fixture does both without modification.

The glass globe diffuses light evenly, removing harsh shadows. It casts a warm pool rather than a bright spot. Clean the globe with a damp cloth. The ceramic base needs nothing beyond occasional dusting. A quiet, versatile light that earns its place in the room.
